With the recent pickup of WR Justin Shorter, Auburn’s roster is looking more complete.
Auburn currently has one guaranteed starter offensively, running back Jarquez Hunter. The other 10 spots are up for grabs, with the new assortment of players. So why is Auburn projected to only have 5 or 6 wins?

From the offensive line, to the receivers, to the Quarterback, Auburn can easily become a completely different team next year. That transformation spans across areas of the defense as well. Hugh Freeze has brought in high quality players across all positions in high quantities. So what would a floor and a ceiling look like for this team?
As it stands currently, Auburn’s floor is 8-4 and their ceiling is 10-2. Although Auburn gets Georgia at home, it’s highly unlikely they win. Alabama, however, is a team Auburn can beat. Mix in a few losses to LSU and possibly one of the Mississippi schools and Auburn is on its way to its best season in 3 years.
