The SEC’s predicted order of finish was released after Media Days this week, and let’s just say—Auburn’s got some bulletin board material. The Tigers were picked to finish 11th in the conference, a clear message from the media that they’re not expecting much from Hugh Freeze’s squad in Year 3. But the voters also couldn’t deny the individual talent on Auburn’s roster, as six Tigers earned preseason All-SEC honors.

Headlining the list is defensive end Keldric Faulk. He was voted First Team Defense. Faulk has been turning heads on many preseason lists and is primed to take another step forward as a dominant edge rusher in 2025. On the offensive side, Sophomore phenom Cam Coleman earned a First Team All-SEC nod at wide receiver. He came on late last season and is poised to make an even bigger impact in his 2nd season.
Other Selections
A new face turning heads is Eric Singleton Jr., the Georgia Tech transfer, who was named to the Third Team All-SEC at wide receiver. He brings game-breaking speed and will pair with Coleman to give Auburn one of the more exciting WR duos in the league.
In the trenches, Connor Lew was voted Third Team Center, and big man Xavier Chaplin joined him on the Third Team Offensive Line, signaling optimism about Auburn’s developing offensive front.
Rounding out the list is kicker Alex McPherson, named Third Team Kicker, who has battled back from injury and could be a crucial piece for Auburn this season.
While the Tigers might be flying under the radar in the team standings, there’s no question the individual talent is there. If these playmakers live up to the preseason hype, Auburn could easily outperform their No. 11 projection.
Where do you see Auburn finishing? Who do you feel was snubbed?
