Auburn crushes Ole Miss on the road

The obnoxious Oxonians left The Pavillion in shame

Curious to see what Lane Kiffin has to say about the Rebels’ 91-77 loss to the Tigers

After a slow first half from Auburn and an inability from Ole Miss to miss a shot, the Tigers pulled away. Auburn moves to 18-4 (8-2) and Ole Miss falls to 18-4 (5-4). This win almost is the first for Auburn in a quad one game, making them 1-4 on the season. The validity of the quadrants is up for debate but regardless it’s always nice to pick up a win in the first, especially on the road.

Chad (Baker-Mazara) came in at halftime and threw the coaches out and fired us up

It took until the second half but eventually Ole Miss cooled off. When they did, Auburn took it to them on the inside. Johni worked all night and when he was doubled made excellent reads to find the open man, one pass especially was made on the left block to the right corner for a wide open Denver Jones three.

This teams ability to beat a quality SEC team on the road is finally established. It was concerning losing two back to back last week but the confidence is strong there heading into the final stretch of the regular season. Lastly, Auburn and Ole Miss is not a rivalry.
