The Auburn Tigers fell short to No. 16 Vanderbilt on the road at FirstBank Stadium on Saturday, 45-38, in overtime.
In another gut-wrenching loss, it was the Tigers’ offense that proved capable of belonging as they put together their best performance of the season with 563 yards on 86 total plays. Auburn’s 38 points were the most scored in an SEC game this season.
However, Auburn’s defense – which has played at a high-clip all season – was unable to contain Diego Pavia and the Vanderbilt offense, allowing 544 yards on 72 plays. Pavia set career-highs with 377 yards passing and 482 yards of total offense.
With that, here is how Auburn football players graded out against the Commodores according to Pro Football Focus. PFF provides football data and analytics, producing 0-100 player grades for every player on every play of every college game, along with advanced stats and team power rankings.
