The PFF Countdown marches into the top 20 as we examine Auburn players ranked 20 through 17. This group features rising stars and key transfers who are set to play pivotal roles this season.
#20 – Cam Coleman, WR (Sophomore)

Cam Coleman is poised for a breakout sophomore season. After battling early drop issues, Coleman bounced back to finish with 37 receptions for 598 yards. His overall PFF grade of 68.3 highlights his progress, with a solid 69.1 drop grade and 69.3 receiving grade.
Coleman’s size and speed make him a dynamic weapon, and with improved hands and route running, he is expected to be a focal point in Auburn’s passing attack. His development as a run blocker (57.0) will also be key as Auburn leans on wide receivers to contribute on the perimeter.
#19 – Zykeivous Walker, DL (Senior)

Veteran defensive lineman Zykeivous Walker checks in at No. 19. Walker, who logged 147 snaps last season, earned a 69.2 PFF grade and was solid against the run (73.7).
While his pass-rushing impact was limited (56.2 pressure grade), Walker’s experience and reliability make him a crucial rotational piece, especially with Auburn’s youth movement along the defensive line. He will be counted on to provide steady play and depth in his final season.
#18 – Kayin Lee, DB (Junior)

Kayin Lee enters his junior season with high expectations. A versatile defensive back, Lee played 643 snaps last season, earning a 69.4 overall PFF grade. His ability to play both outside corner and slot corner gives Auburn flexibility in the secondary.
Lee recorded two interceptions and four pass breakups last year, showing his knack for making plays. He’ll need to tighten up his coverage consistency (46.9 reception rate allowed), but his competitive edge and versatility make him a valuable asset for Auburn’s defense.
#17 – Xavier Chaplin, OL (Transfer from Virginia Tech)

Virginia Tech transfer Xavier Chaplin fills a major need for Auburn at offensive tackle. Chaplin brings size (6’7”, 338 lbs) and experience, grading out at 69.9 overall with a strong 72.8 pass-blocking grade.
Auburn’s offensive line struggled with consistency last year, and Chaplin’s presence provides a much-needed boost. If Chaplin can anchor one side of the line, it will give quarterback Jackson Arnold the protection needed to elevate Auburn’s offense in 2025.
