Auburn beat the hated Tennessee Volunteers at home Saturday, 79-70. This game was an absolute must for the Tigers to make the NCAA tournament and they got the job done. Now fans are wondering if this is the greatest coaching job Bruce Pearl has done at Auburn.

This year is certainly a down year for Auburn, yet it seems Auburn will still be dancing in the NCAA tournament. While the result thus far is impressive, it still has too many holes too be considered his best coaching job. Game after game, there have been questions and criticisms about the way the end of the game was handled.
Was the 2019-2020 season the best coaching job Bruce Pearl has done at Auburn. He took a team of bench warmers from the Final Four team the year prior, and turned them into quality SEC starters and a national championship contender. While the Final Four team was impressive they still limped into the SEC tournament and the 2020 looked strong all the way through. What about this season? Could this be the best coaching job Bruce Pearl has done at Auburn considering the talent?
