Auburn Football held the introductory press conference, announcing new Head Coach Hugh Freeze
After, a somewhat surprising announcement, Hugh Freeze has been named as the Head Coach for Auburn Football. The official press conference was held today at the new Woltosz Football Performance Center.
This is the first official coaching hire for new Athletic Director, John Cohen, who opened the press conference with some words about the hire but took time at the beginning of his remarks to give a shout out to Coach Carnell Williams for his role in helping to right the ship as the interim Head Coach for the last 4 games of the regular season.
A lot is left to work out regarding the coaching staff and players for the team, but this Press conference seemed to push all of the right buttons. We will see what the future hold for Auburn Football under this new leadership.
