Elite recruiter and former Auburn defensive back has resigned from his position
The second staff resignation in the last 24 hours has the Auburn faithful rattled. However, there isn’t justifiable reason for panic both Cadillac and Zac have personal aspirations beyond what Auburn can give them at the moment.
“Auburn football would like to thank Zac for his contributions to the program the last three years,” Freeze said. “He played a vital role in establishing the foundation of the future. Zac is a relentless recruiter and tireless worker who has a bright future in this profession. I look forward to watching his career develop and wish him nothing but the best.”

Not long after he tendered his letter of resignation, the Houston Cougars swooped in and are expected to hire Zac as their next defensive backscoach, per 247 Sports. This is a great step forward for Zac and I wish him nothing but the best in his career.
As for Auburn, there is a name that is known to Tiger fans expected to coach DB’s next season. Charles Kelley will most likely have the title of Co-DC and safeties coach, Aldridge will keep his room and the same can be said for Jeremy Garrett.
