Auburn’s defense gets so needed depth. The transfer edge from Liberty, Stephen Sings, commits to Auburn.
After Dylan Brooks transferred out, Auburn was looking thin at the Jack position. There wasn’t an optimal starter on the roster, Keldrick Faulk is more of a defensive end than a Jack. So, Auburn needed someone else. Hugh Freeze decided to go with Stephen Sings to fill that void.

The Liberty edge recorded 3.5 sacks in 10 games last season. While the numbers are underwhelming, he did his part in one of the most effective defensive lines in all of college football last year.
This is a solid pickup by Hugh Freeze because it addresses multiple issues. It adds a talented rotational player at worst, and it provides you with a veteran starter at best. Just another example of Freeze’s ability to bolster the roster through the transfer portal.
