The biggest rivalry in College Football is the 2:30 kick on CBS this Saturday
Up until last weekend, the momentum built up for this game was strong for the Tigers. Perception of Auburn’s chances might have changed but reality hasn’t, Auburn has the same opportunity today they did last Friday.
The Alabama Offensive Tackles cannot handle speed rushers very well
-Ike Jones on the Midweek Rapport
The offense will have to win this game, Payton Thorne has to open up the Alabama defense early. If Kevin Steele can load the box, it’s game over. The defense will play honest if the intermediate passing attack is consistent. Jarquez would, then, have the opportunity to run downhill and attack the gap, which would be incredibly advantageous throughout the game.
If Auburn stops the run, they win. It’s simple as that. The Alabama offense runs off play action looks against a depleted secondary. Auburn can bring five consistently and be in good shape. If the defense holds Alabama to 21 points or less, Auburn has a great shot in the 88th rendition of the Iron Bowl.
