Coach Freeze has been critical of the Tigers throughout spring.

Until we can go out and play for a championship, we aren’t good.
-Ike Jones on the Mid-Week Rapport
It’s be six years since Auburn was a championship level team. This program has slowly fallen to mediocrity. With that said, it takes time to rebuild it to championship status, Coach Freeze is knee deep in this tedious process. It’s just a tedious undertaking.
No coach wants to show their hand in the spring. If Auburn comes out flat in A-Day, which has been speculated as a possibility, it won’t mean a thing! Freeze likely won’t show even a glimpse of what’s coming in the fall.
