Star Linebacker from Chilton County High commits to the Auburn Tigers
Merry Flipmas! Josh Aldridge and Hugh Freeze have flipped the number 30 ranked player in the 2024 class, Demarcus Riddick from Georgia. He was previously committed to the Bulldogs in November and began reconsidering in the spring. For the majority of spring, he seemed to be Alabama’s to lose, then the summer came along and Auburn heated up.

He is only 8 months on the job and Hugh Freeze is winning big battles against Kirby Smart and Nick Saban. While the pen hasn’t hit the paper, it is unlikely he will change his stance with a senior season to play and early signing day in December.
Riddick is the first five star since 2019(Owen Pappoe). Similar to Pappoe, he has a good chance to play as a true freshman. However, he is showing signs of versatility that Owen didn’t have. He still has to sign his papers and get on campus and win a job, but this kid can be a game changer in 2024.
