Auburn’s QB battle had left many uncertain, so when Tyler Buchner hopped in the portal he attracted the eye of fans. However, is he even worth pursuing? If so, would he commit to Auburn?
I don’t see how you can lean towards Tyler Buchner over Robby Ashford

Last season, Tyler Buchner threw for, 651 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. Robby Ashford however threw for, 1,613 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. While Buchner was a smaller sample size, there is no indication he is better than Robby.
Also, his former Offensive Coordinator, Tommy Rees is at Alabama. He has no reason to jump into another QB battle at Auburn where he is already the underdog with a staff that doesn’t know him. Trust Hugh Freeze and goods things can happen, Auburn doesn’t need Tyler Buchner.
