Will a lighter schedule compared to recent years give way for a bowl berth?
Auburn opens the season with 3 cupcakes games. UMASS, California, and Samford are all games the Tigers should win based on talent alone. There has been concern with the Cal game being in California and being a late kick, however it won’t equate to anything on the field.

Things heat up quickly with a trip to college station in Week 4. This a toss up game, Texas A&M has more talent without a doubt, but will it be deployed effectively? It’s not a reach to say Ron Roberts can and will out-scheme Bobby Petrino and company. While Auburn will be the underdog, the Tigers will walk out of Kyle Field, undefeated.
The back half of the schedule includes two losses in, Georgia, and LSU. The Tigers will avenge the losses in Mississippi beating both schools. Arkansas on the contrary is a tough game to predict, the tandem of K.J. Jefferson and Rocket Sanders can be a nightmare for any defense. It will lead to the Tigers going down in Fayetteville. The season ends with New Mexico State and Alabama coming to town. New Mexico state is an easy win. This will be the weakest Alabama team in the past 15 years and poor QB play and turnovers will take down the tide in Jordan Hare Stadium, capping off a 9-3 season for the Tigers.
