Auburn Basketball get a dominant win at home against Arkansas as the Tigers upset the #13 Ranked Razorbacks
Auburn Basketball bounces back and gets a huge win over #13 Arkansas at home in Neville Arena on Saturday. The team looked both focused and motivated in the win, dominating from start to finish and never trailing Arkansas over the 40 minute game.
The team looked to be in disarray after their visit to Athens. The loss to the Bulldogs had many Auburn fans questioning the team’s ability to notch big wins in the SEC.
A Lot of those grumbles were postponed with the Auburn victory, just 3 days later, against Arkansas, the team looked like one poised to challenge for the conference title again. The strength of the home court seems to be the remedy for an ailing offense.
Auburn won with a strong start on offense and solid defense throughout the game. Arkansas, so far this season, has not been good from distance. Realizing this, Auburn, uncharacteristically, played mostly zone in the game. This forced more outside shooting from Arkansas, who ended the game just 2-of-16 from 3.
