How will teams in the SEC West stack up against their competition?
There are many questions surrounding the toughest division in college football. There are clusters of mediocrity and there is no definitive front runner. It’s also the weakest the division’s Quarterbacks have been in years.
This is a 9 win Alabama team
-Mike G on the Midweek Rapport
As it stands this is the worst Alabama team in 15 years. This team does not have an elite quarterback, which is usually fine because there is enough talent around them to make up for it. However, there is no bell cow at running back, there are no first round receivers, and the offensive line is shaky. This season, Alabama will go 8-4. They will lose to Texas, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn.
Auburn is a completely revamped roster. They will likely have a new quarterback and 5 new starters on the offensive line, as well as a new tight end. They have the 12th ranked schedule in the country. However they are setup for Success with one of the best transfer portal classes in the country as well as having a top 20 staff by Matrix Analytics. Auburn will have a 9-3 season with losses to Georgia, LSU, and Texas A&M.
