The Hugh Freeze era kicks off Saturday against Umass
A new era in Auburn football officially begins Saturday in Jordan Hare Stadium. Coach Hugh Freeze and company are set to overmatch the Minutemen at 2:30 on ESPN. Also of note, Jarquez Hunter is listed as the starting running back for the Auburn Tigers.

Hugh Freeze has coached against Umass for the past four seasons. He has been very complementary of what the Minutemen are capable of defense. Between Philip Montgomery and Hugh Freeze the offensive scheme will equip Payton Thorne with the ability to hit throws over the middle and push the ball downfield. The running back room can attract players into the box, resulting in easy completions through the play action.
Auburn has been given a 94% chance to win and is favored by 5 touchdowns. While the Tigers will win decisively, they will not cover. Auburn will surrender two garbage time touchdowns. The final score will be, 45-17, Auburn.
