What does this move mean for Auburn and Hugh Freeze
It finally happened, the extrapolated Texas A&M head coach finally got the boot. The 77 Million dollar buyout is the largest in the history of college football, and it brings an end to the worst contract in the history of football. The only reason this is relevant to Auburn is because of one man and one man only, Cam Coleman.
Unlike many coaches that can ride talent to wins and championships, you (Jimbo Fisher) cannot, you’re different.

Recruiting has picked up momentum alongside the winning streak on the field. With Jimbo gone, Five Star Wide Receiver, Cam Coleman becomes a flip favorite for Marcus Davis and Hugh Freeze. Previously, Alabama commit Ryan Williams had been the main target for this staff, as his flip changes seem to be falling, Cam Coleman will once again be the center of attention.
As for A&M, the same money that got them into their current predicament, will get them into another one. The Oil Money boosters will look towards a splashy, big name hire that will come back to bite them. Head coaching searches have become more about relevance than results. It’ll be interesting to monitor this situation in the coming weeks.
