First & Over: Reaction to Auburn’s A-Day

After a less than ideal A-Day game, how do the Tigers look?

Hugh Freeze’s first spring at Auburn is in the books.

After a less than ideal spring scrimmage, fans are feeling torn about the results. Auburn ran the ball very effectively, and they also spread the love with 5 different running backs getting significant touches.

The D-Line didn’t win enough.

-Mike G on the Weekend Tailgate

The offensive line looked the strongest it’s been in over 10 years in the run blocking game. The question is, was it due to inadequate play from the D-Line? Is Auburn’s defensive line below SEC caliber?

While the offense had a distinct advantage in the rain, there are still questions about the defensive side of the ball. Will Auburn be able to replace the pressure generated from Derick Hall and Colby Wooden? Will they even be able to get off the field consistently?
