The hard hits keep coming for Auburn football.
Starting center, Connor Lew, is out for the season after suffering a a torn ACL in the 23-17 overtime loss to Missouri, per multiple reports.
Lew is in his third season as a starter for Auburn and is a potential first-rounder in the 2026 NFL Draft. He was a game captain for six of Auburn’s seven games this season. He has recorded 25 starts over the last three season in a orange and blue jersey, and was named to the Preseason All-SEC Third Team.
Head coach Hugh Freeze will likely turn to Kail Ellis, who is the youngest player in the FBS at 17 years old. Ellis manned down the middle of the offensive line for a few snaps against Oklahoma when Lew went out, and recorded 40 snaps against Missouri when Lew went down with the injury.
Auburn, who sits at 0-4 in SEC play, will take to the road this Saturday against Arkansas. Kick off is slated for 11:45 a.m. CT on SECN.
