How did the Tigers perform in their late night matchup against the Golden Bears?
Last night was a strange one for Tiger fans. For the first time in program history, Auburn won in the state of California. However, it was an ugly game from the opening possession to the end and it leaves many questions about the team moving forward.

The offense was the story of the game for all the wrong reasons. Payton Thorne was rattled and inconsistent all night. Jarquez Hunter had a stale debut where he looked rusty and uncomfortable. The Receivers weren’t getting separation and the revolving door at Quarterback capped off a complete disaster on that side of the ball.
However, the defense played lights out and won the game for the Tigers. In the absence of linebacker Austin Keys, Eugene Asante stepped up and balled out. He led the team with 12 tackles and had a game sealing sack late in the 4th quarter.
With that in mind, here are my grades for the week,
