The off-season has been a roller coaster and with the movement of players declaring and transferring, Auburn Basketball has roster concerns.
Auburn basketball has patched a hole yet another one opened. They struggled with scoring from their backcourt last year, problem solved with the addition of Aden Holloway and Denver Jones. However, the Tigers are lacking significant size and depth in the front court.
We are clearly missing several key pieces

You can’t outscore of all your opponents. Offense comes and goes but defense still wins championships, and Auburn is lacking it. They are currently constructed similarly to Missouri this past season, a small ball lineup. While that works to throttle teams in the full court when you slow down to a half court game, teams can’t get destroyed by the pure length of size of their opponent.
Auburn will be in a much better position if both Jaylin Williams and Johni Broome return next season. Regardless, Auburn still needs a true 3 after missing out on Matthew Cleveland. Julian Philips would fit the best just off the size advantage he has over a player like Tyrin Lawrence.
