Auburn Signs Sharpshooter Adam Olsen from South Alabama

Auburn has officially signed Adam Olsen, an impactful forward transferring from South Alabama. Olsen will immediately help elevate the team’s offensive efficiency. Standing at 6-foot-8 and 225 pounds, he arrives with a reputation as an elite perimeter shooter who can “shoot the lights out of the ball”.

Olsen’s statistics last season were nothing short of prolific; he recorded 15 games with at least 20 points and knocked down 102 three-pointers, which tied a South Alabama program record. His addition is crucial for an Auburn team that identified shooting and floor spacing as primary areas for improvement. Unlike previous players on the roster who may have shown hesitancy on the offensive end, Olsen is known for his confidence and willingness to “let it fly” without reservation.

He stretches the floor for you a little bit better than what you had. I believe Olsen’s presence will force opposing defenses to respect the perimeter, thereby opening up opportunities for Auburn’s interior game. Furthermore, Olsen’s physicality at 225 pounds allows him to provide presence beyond just his shooting range. By fitting seamlessly into what Mike Burgomaster wants to do on offense. Olsen is poised to be a major offensive weapon. This signing demonstrates Auburn’s commitment to building a championship-caliber team that can compete with the best in the nation by trading baskets effectively and closing deficits from behind the arc.
